Forgotten war in Yemen

"The coalition, which has the backing of the US and UK, started air strikes and a de facto naval blockade of Yemen’s ports in March, since when more than 4,300 people have been killed, nearly 2,000 of whom are thought to be civilians. “Even if the port is closed for a day – and we’re expecting it to be closed far longer than that – it’s going to have a huge impact on children and innocent civilians, who continue to pay the highest price in this conflict,” said Mark Kaye, Save the Children’s advocacy director for Yemen."
